Local Workshop
Again, there are several support documents in the original Program paperwork. For this document, I will present the workshop outline.
Purpose/Goal: To do our part in following the example of Jesus Christ and the instruction of Mr. Armstrong from the Headquarters Office.
Example Schedule:
- 7:45 - 8:30 Breakfast
- 8:30 - 9:20 The Local Church:
- Goals/Unity in the church; where are we going.
- New people coming in. Finding our resources.
- 9:30 - 10:20 Pillars in the church
- Responsible leaders, gifts, pitfalls of leadership.
- Character Development.
- 10:30 - 11:20 Outreach "What We Can Do"
- Positive things we can do at home/church.
- Formulas for success, personal visiting.
- 11:30 - 12:30 Lunch
- 1:00 - 2:30 Services
- 2:45 - 3:30 Seminar Wrap Up. Question & Answer session. Quarterly Business session. Will begin approximately 15 minutes following services.
