Survey of Doctrine: Topic: Right Attitude

Having a right attitude concerning health can be stated in two sentences:
  1. Accept with joy God's will in your life regarding His healing or lack thereof.
  2. Be meek and humble in your knowledge of health and do not seek to convert others to your personal beliefs about health or nutrition.

Conclusion: Key points:
  • Understand that the will of God rules and directs your life. Be content with His healing you or letting you operate with a weakness as He molds you into the character of Jesus Christ.
  • Do not operate on fear. Do not worry about health.
  • Do not confuse faith with stubbornness, pride, martyr-complex, self-righteousness or self-image.
  • Walk continually in faith, allowing the Spirit of God to develop in you the same faith God has.
  • Christians should praise God for both healing and what He has provided to man in the field of medical science and technology.
  • Do not consider your approach to health as being better than that held by any other. Do not attempt to spread your knowledge unless someone asks you specific questions about your health. Even then, answer in meekness and humbleness. See Doctrine vs. Personal Element of Belief [PEB]
