Cream butter until light and fluffy, add sugar gradually, cream
well, add vanilla. Slowly add flour, then nuts. Roll small balls of
dough in palms of hand. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten. Top
with pecan half (optional). Bake at 350� for 10-12 minutes until
slightly browned. DO NOT OVERBAKE! Remove from cookie sheet immediately
and cool on wire rack. |
