3/4 C. shortening
1/4 C. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 C. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 C. broken walnut meats
Directions:
Cream shortening and milk; add vanilla, sifted flour, salt and
powdered sugar; add nuts. Drop by small spoonsful on greased pans or
roll in small balls and flatten. Bake at 350� for 15 minutes. While
warm, roll in powdered sugar.
