Cream butter, gradually adding sugar until light and fluffy. Add
vanilla, add eggs one at a time. Sift together flour, salt and nutmeg.
Gradually add dry ingredients to egg mixture and beat until thoroughly
blended. Turn butter into greased 9" x 5"x 3" loaf pan. Bake in a 325�
oven for 60-65 minutes. Cool cake in pan. Makes 1 loaf. |
