1/2 C butter
1/2 C shortening
1 C sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
1 t vanilla
1/4 t nutmeg
1 egg
2 C flour
1/2 t salt
1/3 C chopped nuts
Directions:
Cream butter, shortening, sugar, vanilla and egg until fluffy. Stir
in sifted dry ingredients, then nuts. Dough will be stiff. Press evenly
into 15" x 10" shallow pan. Bake at 350� for 25-30 minutes. Cut into
bars.
