The lessons of history have been ignored for centuries. Philosopher George Santayana said those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. The U.S.A. is not only allowing the creation of a European Union, but is openly promoting it. So there will be a "made in the U.S.A." tag on it. Soon we shall see this "new creature" like a Frankenstein monster slowly rising up off the table fixing baleful eyes upon its maker. The North American press fails to report electoral victories by the Nazis in Austria and Germany today. We don't want anyone to wake us up from our slumber party. Winston Churchill was a watchman for the world in the days before World War II. Most failed to pay attention to the watchman back then, and most fail to heed the watchman today-warning the world of the impending World War III. The German Luftwaffe is established inside the U.S.A. at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, N.M. Germany has a history of "blitzkrieg"-lightning war. In 1936 Hitler declared, if war came, "I should fall upon my enemy suddenly, like lightning striking out of the night." Today France has agreed to discuss sharing its nuclear forces with Germany. Churchill warned if you misjudge the Germans, it is a deadly mistake you will make only once. The German government has moved back to Berlin into the Reichstag building where Hitler directed his Third Reich. Many say "never again" and believe they won't allow another holocaust. Those who believe that are making one fatal mistake. Other nations, including the U.S.A., Russia and China will have no control over the direction and destiny of a European Superpower which will become the greatest economic and military machine the world has ever seen. Soon the world will say, "Who is able to make war with the beast?" (Rev. 13:4). Why should the U.S.A., Canada and Britain beware of events taking place in continental Europe today? "While people are saying `Peace and safety', destruction will come on them suddenly... and they will not escape" (1 Thess.5:3).
