After divine intervention in world affairs to stop the complete annihilation of the human race in World War III, Christ will return to destroy the armies of the Beast power, as well as the Kings of the East in the so-called "Battle of Armageddon" and usher in 1000 years of peace on the earth. There are many beautiful scriptures which portray to us the glorious reign of Christ and the Family of God on earth. Just as the first 6 days of the week picture the "day of man" where each day represents 1000 years, so the 7th day Saturday Sabbath represents the "day of the Lord" the last 1000 years in God's plan of salvation for humanity -the millennial rest. This will be a time of magnificent beauty, peace, prosperity and happiness where wilderness and desert areas will become fertile and shall "blossom as the rose" (Isa.35:1). There will be pure crystal clear water to drink. People will learn and observe the laws of radiant health. Poverty, crime, war, sickness, disease, pain and suffering will be gone. Even the nature of wild animals will be changed. They shall not hurt nor destroy in the millennium "for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea" (Isa. 11:6,9). "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart {a deer}, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert" (Isa.35: 5,6). This earth will become a virtual global "Garden of Eden". God's laws will be enforced at that time,... "for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem" (Isa. 2:3). Today God is calling a cadre of individuals as the advance ambassadors of his soon coming Kingdom. Those who overcome and qualify will be given complete power and authority over cities, counties, states and nations (Rev. 2:26; 5:10). The destiny of our planet is to eventually become the headquarters of the universe; and it doesn't matter whether you believe it or not because it is going to happen anyway (Rev. 21:3).
